Thomas Wattebled

Thomas Wattebled (1990) is a French artist who is currently living and working in Orléans. Wattebled claims a romantic position in our performance society. Through his installations and interventions in the public space, he invites us to reconsider the forms and actions of our society. Through manipulations sometimes pushed to the absurd, he organizes the coexistence of different languages such as sport, leisure and everyday life in a sophisticated interaction of shapes always related to Art History.

He spent one year with Erasmus in Tartu Pallas art school where he learned many techniques and kept an enriching memory of this trip.
