Kogo is a contemporary art gallery representing outstanding emerging and mid-career Estonian and international artists of all media. Since its establishment in spring 2018, it has been Kogo’s aim to help the artists with their international visibility, to introduce their artistic practices as widely as possible and to create and maintain professional contacts with art aficionados and community of collectors. The gallery’s program is focused on artists’ solo projects, curatorial projects, and exhibitions born out of cooperation between artists. With our program, we support artistic freedom, interdisciplinarity, and freshness in ideas. The 54 m2 gallery space is located in Tartu at the Widget factory.
Kogo gallery sells paintings, graphic art, photography, installation and video art done by emerging and mid-career artists from Estonia and other countries. The art is suitable for home decoration, as a gift, for collecting or as an investment.
Kogo gallery offers consultation for people seeking more information about which art piece to buy, information about depositing art and how to install art. In Kogo gallery you will be educated about different contemporary art forms and you are able to have a closer look at the art pieces done by our gallery artists.
Art lease is a perfect alternative for those seeking to update the interior of their office or home. Co-working together with collectors and artists Kogo offers the possibility to rent art for organizations and institutions and private individuals who are contributing to Kogo gallery’s program regularly.
Kogo offers for groups the opportunity to get insight to contemporary art scene and art gallery’s activities as well as to the ongoing exhibition and the artist(s).
Renting the Gallery Space
It is possible to rent Kogo gallery space for companies as well as private events. The gallery space houses 20 people. Food and drinks could be ordered from the Widget factory restaurants. Kogo gallery will provide a cultural atmosphere as well as a tour about the current exhibition and artist(s).
