Guilhem Roubichou

Guilhem Roubichou creates a contrast between natural and artificial systems and plays with the democratised “technologygadgets“, by changing their original functions. He experiments, builds devices and reuses what he calls “happy accidents“. From piles of earth, clay, plastic bags to photovoltaic panels, he creates a link with the spectator, guided by a common memory, a reminiscence that is banal. By playing with the standars that are or are not his, he analyses, with humour and lightness, our relationship to technology and how it’s effecting our landscapes in our contemporary society.
