About the artist

Bob Bicknell-Knight (1996) is a multidisciplinary artist and curator from the UK, working with digital media producing films, paintings, sculptures and installations. His practice explores ideas surrounding time, control and degradation, with a particular interest in the underlying mechanics of video game worlds and power structures that proliferate online and in new forms of technology. Since 2016, he has run isthisit?, a nomadic platform specialising in digital art through which he organises exhibitions and has published a series of books. He is currently pursuing a master’s in Contemporary Art at the Estonian Academy of Arts, set to graduate in 2027, and received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts in 2018.

Recent solo exhibitions include Asset Flip at SEAGER, London, UK (2024);  Sunday School at Number 1 Main Road, Berlin (2023); Insert Coin at CABLE DEPOT, London, UK (2023); Non-Player Character at Exhibition Hall, Klaipėda (2023); Digging History at INDUSTRA, Brno (2021); It’s Always Day One at Office Impart, Berlin (2021) and Bit Rot at Broadway Gallery, Letchworth, UK (2020).
